The complete units have bottle-top filters with side arms fitted with quick-disconnect tubing adapters and screw securely into 33mm or 45mm neck size bottles. Graduated upper chambers hold from 115 to 1000mL. Bottle top is printed with catalog number, membrane material, pore size, lot number, and expiration date. cellulose acetate) membrane filters are designed for vacuum filtration with
glass media bottles (order separately). Filter unit screws directly onto
media bottles. Yellow collar filter cup is labeled with lot number, catalog
number, pore size, and expiration date. Certified radiation-sterilized,
nonpyrogenic, and noncytotoxic. The quick-disconnect sidearm accepts
1/4–3/8" tubing.

Below are the Cellulose Nitrate (CN) Nalgene Bottle Filters. For sterile biological
filtration, cold sterilization, or cleanup of particulated solutions or buffers.
Components separate easily for pouring. Receiver can be used to store filtrate.
Graduations on uppers and receivers. Filter cup is printed with catalog number,
lot number, membrane type, pore size, and expiration date. Nontoxic,
triton-free. Preassembled and radiation sterilized.

Nylon Nalgene Bottle Filters: has very low
levels of extractables and high protein binding. It's inherently hydrophilic so
requires no wetting agents. And Nylon has better alcohol resistance than any
other MF75 membrane. Its toughness makes Nylon the best membrane for special
applications.
PES = Polyethersulfone Nalgene Bottle
Filters: the ultimate tissue culture membrane. It's fast and clean.
PES is low protein binding so there is less chance of removing critical protein
components from your media. It is hydrophilic so no external wetting agents or
surfactants are needed, resulting in low extractables. And it's fast, so you
spend less time waiting.
SFCA = Surfactant Free Cellulose Acetate Nalgene
Bottle Filters : the ideal choice if you are growing sensitive cells
or filtering cell culture media. SFCA is also low protein binding. A far
superior choice as compared to regular cellulose acetate which use
surfactants.
CN = Cellulose Nitrate Nalgene Bottle Filters:
are Triton X®-free and have excellent wetting
properties. CN provides fast flow rates for buffers and other aqueous solutions.
CN membranes are ideal for filtering and clarifying solutions when protein
binding is not a concern.
